This propaganda is floating around social media. I'd say it's hilarious but I believe there are people who see this propaganada and believe this garbage. Please , RUN AWAY FROM ANYTHING/ANYONE THAT CLAIMS Jesus was a part of a any political party as well as Jesus was a liberal or conservative or left wing or right wing. It's an insult to the God of Abraham to suggest that he is. It's not Jesus "was", it's Jesus "is" (as he lives eternally).
He had long hair and a beard
Umm.. Too hilarious. Many people during that time had "long hair and a beard". Even some of the most evil people in the Bible. It's a rediculous comment. I have long hair and can easily grow a beard if I want but I just don't like beards.
He did not work for a corporation
Such nonsense. He did the work of his father. I'm in IT and have worked with many liberals over the years at a corporation. I used to consider myself a "classic liberal at parts"(I loved the Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar and other rock and roll/classical anthems that were about Jesus (except for the ones that portrayed him as a homosexual). I don't believe in abortion and don't condone homosexuality but can still love them and pray that they will see that it's not a condition one is "born with" but rather a condition by which one is learned over the years.
He was undocumented
???? So the propaganda above is now saying "ALL LIBERALS ARE NOT DOCUMENTED"? It's an upside down world. If one wants to completely obliterate that nonsense : "Jesus is not of this world. He/father created the world and man". His birth/teachings and crucifixions are documented all over the place in the Gospels and the Epistles.
He hung out with criminals, whores and other unsundry characters.
What? Too silly. That's actually a bigoted comment. So now the comment is saying that "All liberals are criminals, whores and other unsundry characters?". There were no "liberals" or "conservatives" back in the day. Besides so many liberals on social media are "atheists" who don't believe in Jesus. Conservatives and right wingers too. Nobody is perfect and Jesus forgave them for their past. I can assure you that John the Baptist was not a liberal. He exorcised the demons from Mary Magdalene. Was his mother a "criminal or a whore"? How about Joseph? Was Peter "unsundry" or "Lazarus", etc..? I am 100% confident that liberalism has nothing at all to do with Jesus. For any of the liberals who are pro-choice and living the homosexual lifestyle and have hatred in their hearts for anyone who disagrees with them, I can assure you that Jesus never condoned that. Scripture proves it. Calling homosexuals sinful is not a Christian hating on them (I had a homosexual friend who was a nice guy) and we're supposed to love them. But the Bible clearly says that. It's not being "homophobic". I can pray for them lovingly that they will get to know God's word and repent for their sins as I do every day. Christians who bring up God are not "holier than thou" or "on a pedestal". The Bible tells us to do so. God sent his son in human form intentionally in an extremely humble way (born in a manger), riding on a donkey, etc..
He believed we are all equal in the eyes of God
I sometimes wonder if the people/person who put the propaganda meme was a non-believer. God loves us all. Conservatives and people on the right also believe we are all equal in the eyes of God if they truly follow Christ. Besides, I've seen numerous posts on social media by the left/liberals who hate on conservatives and Christians and talk down to them like they're 2nd class citizens. So much hypocrisy in the meme.
He advocated giving away your personal belongings and paying your taxes.
He advocated "Social Justice".
"Render unto God things that are God's and Render to Ceasar what is his". Tax evasion comes from all sides of the political spectrum. I pay my taxes and would never violate that. As per giving away your personal belongings. The meme above intentionally leaves it out of "biblical context". I already answered this in the post here . But for convenience sake, I'll show the snippet here.
He gave people hope instead of fear. Advocated change instead of the status quo.
With the left modifying/twisting scripture to push their non-Biblical, I am fearful that they will deceive and brainwash others into believing that their agenda aligns with the Bible. But Jesus gives me hope because his word is true and any attempts to modify it will be called out. The change he wanted was for people to accept/believe in him as the Messiah. It had nothing to do with changing to allow abortion, being proud (pride in anything is a sin) to be gay, changing to be an atheist or a satanic worshipper and wanting today's "socialism" or "communism".
He preached peace instead of war.
Of course he did. And so did President Trump and a lot of other presidents and Christians. No real Christian wants war. There seems to be a slow change/attempt for congress to sneak in bills that infringe more and more on the religious freedoms. Here's one example:
Critics of the act warn that it will violate the rights of Christians (who have a business in a secular spectrum) to exercise their right to refuse to do business with those not following the "Word of God". Lawsuits have been taken against them which is a violation of one's religious freedom. We see examples of conservatives being told to leave (and even harassed) at an eating establishment by angry liberal protesters. Jesus would never condone any of that behavior.
He Pissed off the local conservatives.
So much propaganda. The pharisees and those who called for him to be crucified (many of them poor) were in no way/shape or form "conservatives". So rediculous. It's dangerous for anyone to transport the events/people in the Bible to "liberal" vs "conservative". Jesus was not of the world. So many things that he would considered sin in the left/liberal spectrum including the conservative/right wing spectrum.
So many people twisting the Bible to align with their political side. Politics and Religion don't align. Jesus was not interested in becoming a left wing liberal or a conservative or a right winger. He was not of this world and wanted to prepare everyone (by his teachings) for the day when his Kingdom comes.
